About us

The Engineering Society is a student organization that connects University of Chicago students with the educational and physical resources to build and design their own projects. We host educational workshops, guest speakers, networking events, community service fundraisers and weekly project nights all designed to foster a community of engineers and creators on campus and in the surrounding community. During our project nights, we design and build things across a wide variety of engineering disciplines. Our past projects have included, robotic arms, acoustic levitators, 3D printers and rockets.
