Kelly Kilham Joins TSKC as SVP of Konover Residential Corporation The Simon Konover Company is pleased to announce that Kelly Kilham, formerly Kelly DeMatteo, has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Konover Residential Corporation (KRC). In this position, Ms. Kilham will lead the operations, marketing, and financial performance of KRC’s growing portfolio of over 6,500 residential units. Kelly brings over 20 years of experience in all aspects of residential property management and operations. Jim Wakim, Esq., President, COO and General Counsel of The Simon Konover Company, announced his plan to retire later this spring. Mr. Wakim joined The Simon Konover Company in May of 2008 and has been responsible for the strategic growth of the company’s investment and management portfolio including the two operating divisions, Konover Commercial Corporation and Konover Residential Corporation. He will retire on May 31, 2024 but will remain with the company as a consultant through the end of 2024. Gregory Konover, a third generation Konover family member and grandson of company founder Simon Konover, will assume the leadership role as President of The Simon Konover Company. Greg started at the company in May of 2013 as an Acquisitions and Development Associate and was promoted to President of Konover Residential Corporation in October of 2019. Greg will continue in his capacity as President of Konover Residential Corporation. Scott J. Lynch, Chief Financial Officer, will assume the additional role of Chief Operating Officer, and will work closely with Mr. Konover to set the vision for the continuing success of The Simon Konover Company. A kiosk property in downtown Hartford, owned by an entity of The Simon Konover Company, has been fully renovated to house the new Hartford Information and Welcome Center. The kiosk boasts bright moulding, a large Hartford map, along with eye-catching photos of attractions, shopping, landmarks and other places of interest in downtown Hartford. Information on activities, places to eat, historic landmarks, directions and more are easily available with a scannable QR code. On Friday, February 16th, the City of Hartford opened the new welcome center at the kiosk located on the corner of Main and Asylum Streets in downtown Hartford. Arunan Arulampalam, Hartford Mayor (right), Jordan Polon, Executive Director of Hartford Business Improvement District (left) were there for the opening along with Beth Judd (center), President of Konover Commercial Corporation (KCC). KCC is pleased to welcome The City of Hartford as a new Tenant at this central Hartford location.

Over 30 employees from Konover Commercial Corp. & Konover Residential Corp. successfully completed hands-on EPA Lead Renovation Repair and Painting Training courses in November and December.
