To know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same®

About us

The Navigators is an international, interdenominational Christian ministry established in 1933 as an outreach for followers of Jesus Christ to help others come to know and grow in Him as they navigate through life – a goal embodied by The Navigators motto, “To Know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same®” Navigators are characterized by an eagerness to introduce Jesus to those who don't know Him, a passion to see those who do know Jesus deepen their relationship with Him, and a commitment to training Jesus followers to continue this nurturing process among the people they know. We are a community of hundreds of thousands of everyday people who impact others for God's glory in our normal pathways of life where we study, live, work, and play. We spread the Good News of Jesus Christ by establishing Life-to-Life® mentoring—or discipling—relationships with people, equipping them to make an impact on those around them for God's glory. Today, the Navigator staff family – nearly 5,000 strong – spans 70 different nationalities, 130 languages, and individuals from every heritage and life experience. The Navigator family also includes those who work alongside and support our staff, whose hearts beat with our same passion to Know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same™.

Are you looking for a way to nurture and grow your relationship with God? Morning devotions are a great way to spend daily time with the Lord, but it can be valuable to go beyond this daily routine and spend extended time alone with God in prayer. 🙏 We are called into a relationship with God, and this fellowship is nurtured by spending time with Him. Spending extended time alone with God can seem daunting, but here are some tips to get started: ⏰ Schedule your time. 📖 Take essential items, like a Bible, paper and pen with you. 💤 Stay awake and alert by getting adequate rest the night before. 📝 Take notes during this time to give yourself a record of what the Lord is speaking to you. Former Navigators President, Lorne Sanny, shared what the outcome of spending this time with the Lord should look like: “The result of your day in prayer should be answers to the two questions Paul asked the Lord on the Damascus road (Acts 22:6-10). Paul’s first question was, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ The Lord replied, ‘I am Jesus.’ You will be seeking to know Him, to find out who He is. The second question Paul asked was, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ the Lord answered him specifically. This should be answered or reconfirmed for you in that part of the day when you unhurriedly seek His will for you." For more tips on how to spend extended time in prayer, download the full resource at navs.me/3xBzU03 #RelationshipsWithGod #ChristianResource #QuietTime #TimeAloneWithGod #TAWG #NavResource #DiscipleshipTool

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸 Today, as we in the United States celebrate the birth of our nation and the freedom we cherish as Americans, let us also remember that our true freedom comes from Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. In John 8:36, Jesus declares, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." When Jesus spoke these words, He was addressing those who believed in Him. He was inviting them—and us—to embrace a life of true freedom, not just from earthly constraints, but from the eternal consequences of sin. This freedom goes beyond external circumstances or societal norms. It is a deep, inner freedom that comes from knowing we are loved, accepted, and forgiven by our Heavenly Father. It is a freedom that empowers us to live with purpose, joy, and authenticity, pursuing God's purpose for our lives, loving and serving others selflessly, and experiencing the abundant life Jesus promised. Today, as citizens of both the United States and heaven (Philippians 3:20), let's pause to appreciate this precious gift. May we exemplify the beauty of living in a nation that upholds religious freedom, while keeping our hearts fixed on our eternal citizenship in Christ. Let's also celebrate the freedom we have in Jesus and commit ourselves to living as true disciples, embracing the fullness of life that comes from being "free indeed." #IndependenceDay #4thOfJuly
