Tofu House, a popular Korean restaurant in the City of Reno, has reopened its doors after a four-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Owner and chef Osu Kwon, known for his successful restaurant ventures, decided to close the Tofu House to focus on his family during the pandemic. The restaurant's reopening at Damonte Ranch Town Center has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm from the community, demonstrating the strong loyalty it garnered during its previous operation. Kwon's decision to revive the Tofu House was driven by the constant inquiries from customers eager for a taste of his authentic Korean cuisine. While the restaurant's return has been met with initial challenges, Kwon is optimistic about the future. He has also opened a neighboring poke restaurant, Poke N Go, to diversify his business and cater to different customer preferences.
