Aim for your ideal body weight in grams of protein per day. Protein is vital for various bodily functions, including building and repairing tissues, producing enzymes and hormones, and supporting immune health. It also helps maintain muscle mass, which is crucial for overall strength and metabolic health. Benefits: 1. Muscle Repair and Growth: Protein helps repair and build muscle tissues, making it essential for recovery after exercise and maintaining muscle mass as you age. 2. Satiety and Weight Management: Protein-rich foods promote a feeling of fullness, which can help control appetite and support weight loss or maintenance. 3. Metabolic Health: Adequate protein intake supports a healthy metabolism, aiding in energy production and efficient nutrient use.

    CEO, Co-Founder at The Lanby

It's harder than ever to know which habits—nutrition, supplements, fitness, sleep, wearables—are worth your time and money. The wellness industry offers conflicting advice, and most doctors can’t validate what's true. Why? They lack the time and training. Insurance-based doctors are incentivized by volume, not quality. More visits and procedures mean more revenue, leading to rushed appointments and little investment in your long-term health. After experiencing the frustration of focusing on longevity within the conventional system, I created a membership model that does the opposite. Unlike misaligned doctors and harmful wellness fads, our flat-fee membership allows providers the time to explore the latest research and trends. We use extensive biomarker testing and advanced diagnostics, including genetic testing, to understand your unique needs and identify the root cause of your symptoms. At The Lanby, wellness recommendations are personalized and tracked using your own data. We succeed when our members are happy, healthy, and satisfied. We don't follow insurance reimbursement rules because our model is patient-centric; our members are our primary focus. Here's what a member recently shared about her experience: "As a patient at The Lanby, my greatest victory has been implementing some easy changes to my life (morning smoothie, increased fish intake, supplements) which resulted in my cholesterol, iron, and vitamin D improving drastically. I also reduced my inflammation and generally feel more at ease and educated about my health. I trust The Lanby team and now don’t feel like I have to jump on trends on social media or information from friends. I know The Lanby is giving me personalized recommendations based on science and also my own profile. Feeling more at ease about what I’m doing to try to ensure a longer, healthier life has greatly helped my mental health.” - Alex P. Podcast Episode: Navigating Breast Cancer, Infertility, and the Path to Wellness In this solo episode, Chloe shares her journey through breast cancer and infertility, and how it led her to launch The Lanby. She discusses the lack of coordinated care and guidance during survivorship, which pushed her to pursue wellness optimization independently. Chloe explains the hidden risks of consumerized wellness and how her experiences shaped The Lanby’s care model. She stresses the importance of integrating wellness into primary care to support prevention and monitor interventions for effectiveness. The Lanby’s approach to primary care is a departure from the typical, often unsatisfactory, doctor visit. By incorporating hospitality principles and offering support across medicine and wellness, The Lanby is redefining what it means to get well, better. Key Takeaways: - Survivorship often lacks coordinated care and guidance, leaving patients to navigate wellness on their own. - Traditional healthcare often excludes wellness advice, leading patients to seek external information. - Healthcare providers often lack training in nutrition and wellness, limiting comprehensive care. - A care team that includes physicians, wellness advisors, member advocates, physician assistants, and medical assistants provides holistic, personalized care. #TheLanby #Podcast #HealthcareInnovation #BreastCancerSurvivor #WellnessOptimization #PrimaryCareRedefined
