Where ideas to stop vascular disease become groundbreaking realities.
About us
At the Jacobs Institute, we’re reinventing the way vascular disease research, prevention, and treatment has always been done. By breaking down the barriers between clinical experts, engineers, regulators, students, patients, and researchers, we harness the power of collaboration to create pioneering technologies and get new ideas out of the lab and into the hands of the people who need them most. We believe when the best minds in the industry work together, we can inspire a new standard of care for patients, a more efficient way to innovate, and a holistic vision for health. We believe, together, we can significantly reduce the devastating impact of vascular disease — and save thousands of lives. Join our network of professionals driving change in the medical field.

Check out one of our 3D printed models! 🤩 JI 3D printed models can be used for engineering, training, and marketing applications. Models can be customized to mimic various anatomies, practice surgical approaches, and support device development needs. The image showcases a modular suite of neurovascular models that have supporting radial and femoral artery access pathways. The 3D printed models here are derived from various patient anatomy and can be interchanged to create unique device navigation pathways. The modules are easy to swap out and can be customized with varying challenge features found in intracranial anatomy such as vessel loops and severe bends.

Hear from another one of our 8-week summer interns, Murphy Shah, from Research Lab High School BPS #366. We love to hear when our young students seek to continue their STEM education into college, and Murphy's looking forward to his pre-med education post-graduation. Also excited to share that Max received the Mayor Summer Youth Program’s Most Enthusiastic Learner Award at a ceremony at City Hall this month! Do you know a high school student interested in STEM?
