Music education and programs in schools are often the first to go due to budget cuts. That was the case with Newport Elementary School, whose music program lacked the necessary instruments and equipment, leaving the students uninspired and uninterested in music.   Recently, Guitar Center Music Foundation assisted and provided everything needed to get the program up and running!   The Foundation is dedicated to keeping music alive and accessible by providing instruments and equipment to music programs, schools, and non-profits in need. We are proud to support their mission of helping the next generation of musicians spark their creativity and find their sound. #LifeAtGCC #gcmf

We're kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15) by recognizing the rich legacy of the Hispanic and Latino communities and their incredible impact on popular culture. The diverse genres within Hispanic and Latin American sound have enriched our musical landscape and helped shape the tunes we still enjoy today. As a company dedicated to passionate players, we are excited to highlight pioneering artists such as Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Selena Quintanilla, and Vicente Fernández. These artists introduced a wide range of musical styles to broader audiences and helped pave the way for contemporary stars like Bad Bunny, Rosalía, and Shakira, who continue to keep these genres thriving. September is National Recovery Month, a time to increase awareness around the prevention, treatment, and recovery of mental health and substance use challenges.     At the Guitar Center Company, we believe in fostering a compassionate and understanding workplace.
