The Grove Foundation is a private family foundation guided by a vision that all people have the resources, respect, and sense of belonging to live and contribute fully as themselves, in safety, and with joy. It provides grants to national, state, and community-based groups. The Grove Action Fund is a 501(c)(4) social welfare grantmaking institution and sister organization to the Grove Foundation.

We're excited and proud of this recent campaign from our partner and grantee Comunidades Indigenas en Liderazgo (CIELO)! Join us in shining a spotlight on the vibrant Indigenous communities of LA. Scattered across Los Angeles, the billboards are giving a face to LA’s Indigenous migrant populations and bravely challenges their census-based erasure. Being categorized as Latino overlooks the rich linguistic and cultural diversities within the Indigenous communities and leads to substantial barriers to accessing basic human rights, such as interpretation services in crucial institutions, including healthcare, education, and the legal system. #WeAreHere #BuildCommunity #TrustBasedPhilanthropy

Dear friends and partners, it’s February, and we’re celebrating Black History Month by continuing to resource initiatives that contribute toward positive futures for Black people. Our founders, Andy and Eva, recognized at the start that Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ people do not receive the same treatment or have access to the support they had received as immigrants. In 2020, Grove invested in its Black Led Power Building initiative, focusing on resourcing organizations doing advocacy work and emphasizing civic engagement and liberation.
