#GerrisBoats vola! Varo a cinque mesi dal foglio bianco, cinquantamila euro di budget, volare in cinque ore di tests dal primo varo. Ci siamo riusciti! In questi cinque mesi mi sono messo in apnea e mentre guardavo con grande ammirazione le imprese dei "foilers" da 50 nodi (e molti milioni di Euro), perseguendo semplicità ed efficacia siamo riusciti a far volare il nostro "Girino", il baby Gerris. Il suo scafo è sia in scala 1:2 della piattaforma S del #GerrisTaxi e #GerrisTender, sia in scala 1:5.55 (periodico!) del #GerrisFerry. Abbiamo usato materiali non costosi e riciclabili: legno ed alluminio, e si, scusateci, ha un fuoribordo a benzina da 10 cavalli (ma per il nostro prossimo tour dimostrativo accettiamo volentieri equivalenti elettrici da sponsors!). Vola, piano, fra le onde nel mare e non nella calma piatta dei laghi, a poco più di 12 nodi, a simulare i 17 nodi e più di mezzo metro d'onda del Tender ed i 28 nodi in un metro e mezzo d'onda del Ferry. Pubblico per ora questa foto, un po' sfocata, un po' "romantica", tratta da uno dei video che pubblicheremo presto... e che qualcuno di voi ha già in anteprima. Nelle prossime settimane vi racconteremo dalla pagina GerrisBoats la costruzione del Girino, vi mostreremo i video in navigazione e ripartiremo a proporvi uno ad uno i vantaggi della nostra tecnologia foiling. Vi racconteremo della nostra visione per un foiling sostenibile ed a basso costo.
