At THE FIFTH, we’re proud to be given four volunteering days each year to step away from our desks and give back to the community. Last week, a group of us took advantage of this by heading to Brighton for a beach clean, contributing to a cleaner ocean and helping protect wildlife from the harmful effects of plastic and litter. 🌊🐚 Not only was it a fantastic way to contribute to a vital cause, but it also gave our team a chance to bond, have fun, and enjoy a gorgeous sunny day by the sea. ☀️ As tradition goes, we treated ourselves to fish and chips 🍟🐟 and ended the day with a well-deserved drink at a seaside pub. 🍻 We filled several bin bags with rubbish and left feeling accomplished and connected, both with the team and the environment. 💪 Have ideas for our next volunteering mission? The show features celebs like Joe Swash and Jamie Laing locked in a box for over 24 hours, battling it out for space and comfort. It’s as entertaining and chaotic as it sounds! What made this campaign special is how perfectly it aligned with Joe’s pop culture format. When brands let creators work within their unique formats, the content feels so much more authentic—and that’s exactly why it works. When our brilliant client UKTV came to us to create and build an influencer campaign to promote Series 4 of Emma Willis: Delivering Babies our aim was to create a campaign that evoked those heart swell moments among social communities that sparked conversation and drove them to watch the show on U&W. 👶 Working with eight talent we created a campaign that celebrated the unfiltered, telling the story of birth just as it is, complete with all the ups and downs. To do this we commissioned an audio that celebrated the strength and power of birth, by championing the people that bring life into the world. Working with renowned parenting poet Jess Urlichs to write the VO, we made sure the audio would pull on the heartstrings of our audience and act as the perfect backdrop for our talents' own birth stories. 📺 With the influencers natural and heartfelt content we gave the audience a real, yet reassuring flavour of what’s to come, building a community for others to share as well. To mark Pain Awareness Month, we teamed up with our wonderful client Curaleaf Clinic to tackle the stigma chronic pain sufferers face and empower them to explore alternative treatments. Over a third of the UK experiences chronic pain, often facing discrimination because their pain isn't visible. Our goal was to encourage social audiences to share their hidden struggles, helping them feel more comfortable talking about their pain and seeking out alternative treatments. Since many comedians use humour to hide their pain, we partnered with comedic creator Helen Christie🎤 to turn the spotlight inwards and kick off the conversation. Through her authentic content, she unmasked her own pain, helping to break the stigma, creating support, and inspiring others to find the relief they deserve🙌.
