I enjoyed every moment moderating the The Creative Ladder panel, The Art of Collaboration, for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Creative Academy alongside an all women panel of industry giants, legends and friends, Thas Naseemuddeen Marinda Yelverton, Sara Tate, and Judy Lee last week. It was so good to hear and share the many innovative ways Omelet, Pinterest, 160over90 and 21st Century Brand are leveraging diversity within their teams to breakthrough ideas that not only build upon belonging and community building, but also propel businesses forward and contribute positively to society. Many, many thanks to Cannes Lions for entrusting us with your rising young talent on the fast-track to becoming the next generation of industry leaders, and to Pinterest Beach for hosting us! #Cannes #CannesLions #Cannes2024

Day One at Cannes Lions was…everything they said it would be! After kicking off the day being gifted the Meta x Ray-Ban sunglasses, our cohort gained powerful insights on what powers peak Reels performance from Meta (thank you, Katie Ewer!) Quick Tip: You will never outsmart the algorithm! 💡 Throughout the day, I met amazing leaders and discussed data transparency and technology enablement at Microsoft Beach, learned what makes authentic and impactful inclusion at the Pinterest Manifestival, and celebrated The Creative Ladder’s 2nd anniversary with our partners, including Givsly, Consiglieri, Hilton, and more. To wrap it all up, I ended the night with some bada** women in sports at The Female Quotient’s Equality Lounge. Sounds like a lot, huh? CORRECT! I wouldn’t have it any other way. #CannesCrazy #KeepClimbing 🪜

Just wrapped up an eventful Day 3 at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 🌟 Starting the week with The Creative Ladder & Meta was so inspiring. Katie Ewer’s insights on the power of Reels for connection & action were eye-opening. Huge thanks to the team Jason Dailey for generously gifting us the iconic Meta x Rayban sunglasses to capture our experience at the festival! 🕶️ A spontaneous selfie with David Griner & Jorge Peraza-Vasquez on the Croisette made my day while looking for lunch! 😂 The Pinterest Manifestival stole the show and was by far the highlight of my week. Such a fun activation with so many engaging & creative tools! Dionna Dorsey moderated a captivating panel on the art of collaboration - alongside amazing women leaders Thas Naseemuddeen, Marinda Yelverton & Judy Lee. Thank you for reminding us that our singular individual presence matters 🙏🏾. Lastly, I’d be remiss not to give a s/o to Gary Williams Jr & Tamon George, MBA at Creative Theory Agency for sharing their wisdom on embracing uncertainty. Their advice to seize opportunities and acquire new skills was truly empowering. Thank you for an engaging panel discussion! #canneslions2024 #creativeladder

Marinda Yelverton of 160over90 sharing gems during our panel, The Art of Collaboration, during Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this week.
For whatever reason my Instagram dms blew up from this comment (in a good way) and it took me by sheer surprise. I learned this several years ago (🙏🏾) from a former great Boss. Sharing it here in hopes that it resonates and widens someone’s perspective in this very tough job market. “What are some practical tips for leaders to encourage and sustain diversity-driven collaborations in their organizations?”- Dionna Dorsey “Recruitment. When I shifted into leadership I had to change my mindset when it came to the recruitment process. I stopped looking at candidates for who would be a “cultural fit” to who would be a “cultural build.” - #MY A moment on Pinterest Beach with The Creative Ladder repping 160over90 #CanneLions
