TDCJ is pleased to announce Michael Britt as the Region III Director!🌟 With over 22 years of experience with the agency, Mr. Britt began his career as a correctional officer in 2004. He has held every ranking position at multiple units throughout the state of Texas. Most recently, he held the title of Senior Warden at the Estelle Unit. Mr. Britt is passionate about helping his staff succeed, and creating an environment that fosters growth and helps staff understand the importance of their role. His years of experience, knowledge and training have made him an invaluable to the agency. Mark Rodger has had a distinguished career with TDCJ of over 45 years. He served in various positions including correctional officer, maintenance mechanic and electrician. He has held positions in several divisions including the Correctional Institutions, Facilities, and Manufacturing and Logistics. ⚙️ Rodger’s hardworking attitude has remained steadfast throughout his tenure. His continued commitment to make a positive difference is reflected through his experience over the years.
