Grade inflation is what happens when students are being taught below their grade level. Texas is remedying this by increasing teachers' access to age-appropriate instructional materials.

Under current regulations, doctors contracted with Medicare and Medicaid face a $10,000 penalty for each instance they charge a non-government patient substantially less than the government rate. Excited to share that our research paper on the true costs of EVs by Brent Bennett and Fmr. Rep. Jason Isaac is a finalist for State Policy Network's Bob Williams Award for Most Influential Research! The research has been cited hundreds of times across local, state, and national media outlets and has broadened the discussion of subsidies beyond the federal tax credits and into the more important realms of fuel economy regulations, environmental regulations, and infrastructure costs. It shined a light on how the cost of charging EVs is largely being socialized and how the prices of gasoline vehicles are increasing in order to subsidize EVs.

Texas teachers deserve a pay raise. What they do not deserve is for their administrators to regularly misuse funds and keep asking for more money to make the same mistakes over and over. That’s a disservice to teachers, students and taxpayers. We all deserve better.
