✨ We’re still on cloud nine following an outstanding UIK summer course! Last week, Adri Carbajal Carrillo (He/Them) joined Arancha Caballero and Myriam Garcia Vizuete to teach the course “Traducción y tecnología: codo con codo, frente a frente (Translation and Technology: Side by Side, Face to Face).” He highlighted how the latest technological advances have impacted the translation sector, with a focus on service provision and research methods. Cynthia Tortesi (she/her) participated in the course and had a wonderful time connecting with colleagues and engaging in discussions about automation and accessibility in subtitling, the challenges of today’s digital era, how to improve inclusion and equality, and many other hot topics.
