LSU is proud to announce that its Chief Information Officer Craig Woolley has been awarded The Champion award by Splunk at their annual user conference, .CONF24. Splunk is one of the partners of the LSU and LONI Security Operations Center, which now provides cyber protection for higher education and institutions across Louisiana. This award celebrates executives who are committed to innovation, teamwork, and results. “... the MVPs who've helped their teams turn data into gold, leading their organizations to victory.” Woolley was the only nominee who works in higher education. The award comes as a result of the work LSU has done in partnership with LONI and the Louisiana Board of Regents, Splunk, and Tekstream for the Security Operations Center that opened last fall. The LONI SOC hosted on LSU’s flagship campus in Baton Rouge helps track and mitigate cyber threats in real time, while giving students the opportunity to gain real-world cybersecurity experience. #LSU #LSUITS #ScholarshipFirst #WBTTW #Cybersecurity #SOC

Our ATL team had the honor of serving at Atlanta Community Food Bank yesterday. We spent the afternoon pulling, sorting, and packing over 17,000 lbs. of food! AFCB is an amazing non-profit - their team of onsite volunteers were some of the most upbeat and friendly people who kept the energy flowing all afternoon.
