Several of our Riviera Beach employees and their families participated in the John D. MacArthur State Park Beach Clean Up Project on Saturday, July 20th. The state park offers a unique mixture of coastal and tropical hammock and mangrove forest, this barrier island provides a haven for several rare or endangered native tropical and coastal plant species. The Riviera Beach Team collected and removed from several pounds of trash from the beach, while we all basked in the summer sun and waves of the ocean. The Beach cleanup help remove trash which might otherwise end up endangering sea turtles or shorebirds.
