The saying “if these walls could talk” has a new meaning at Old North Illuminated. A restoration project is underway to uncover four 18th-century painted angels hidden beneath layers of paint. The historic site will be open for visitors to watch the walls go back in time. NBC Boston got an exclusive sneak peek at the start of the project:

A boilerplate is a snapshot of your organization– essentially the “about us” section of a press release. It’s usually one or two paragraphs that explain the who, what, where, when, and why of your company. A boilerplate can also be used on your website, on social media, across various marketing mediums, and touchpoints. While you can tweak it for each need, the majority of the text usually stays the same.

In the ever-evolving industry of digital marketing, it can sometimes feel like a full-time job just to stay up to date. Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager Hayley recently attended Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce's BIMA, Boston Interactive Media Association’s Panel, “Cookies, Data, and Google – The Future of Data and Targeting” featuring speakers from Hill Holliday, Connelly Partners, Audigent, and Digitas North America. Drew Stein, Founder & CEO of Audigent, a leading data activation, curation, and identity platform, optimistically discussed the future of data targeting, stating, “privacy is not only an opportunity, it an obligation.” It was a fascinating conversation on how agencies and companies can progress in using consumer data while still maintaining the trust and privacy of their customers.

Our team has been quite busy lately– from staffing events, media shoots, and attending client on-sites– here’s some of what the #TeakTeam has been up to. Cresonia was at The Home for Little Wanderers to oversee a TV Shoot for WCVB Channel 5’s 5 for Good. Check out that segment here: https://lnkd.in/ehPkyDYs Diana attended the opening of Davis Museum’s new exhibit, Rory McEwen’s “A New Perspective on Nature.” Jenn staffed New England Aquarium's launch event for their new Animal Crossing experience, “Animal Crossing: New Horizon Aquarium Tour,” which is open through December 14, 2024, and free with aquarium admission.

Last week our team participated in an AI workshop hosted by The Kendall Project in the CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center). Right in the center of Kendall Square in Cambridge, a mecca of technology, science, and engineering innovation, it was the perfect environment to learn about AI solutions that will help us stay ahead of the business curve. Here are some of our team's top takeaways: https://lnkd.in/ejYUUmVC

They say the team that sweats together stays together– well, maybe they don’t, but we think they should! A few of our team members enjoyed one of the last #SeaportSweat sessions of the season hosted by LIT2LIFT. Thanks for a great workout. See you next summer! 💪

“Sigma,” “ate,” “rizz,” and “skibidi” are a few of the words Account Director Hannah heard as she greeted the girls on the first day of practice for Girls on the Run Greater Boston, the youth running program where she serves as a volunteer coach. "There is nothing more humbling than asking a group of 8 to 11 year-old girls to explain what these words mean, especially as someone who communicates for a living." But the joy on their faces and immediate connection Hannah and the girls built by simply asking the question, is a great reminder of the greater impact of language and the words we use. #Communication #GenAlpha #Slang #Communicators
