RiF010 Urban Surfing Rotterdam taking shape!
De RiF010 golfkamers zijn volop in aanbouw🌊 Het schuine deel aan de voorzijde van de golfkamer heet de Bullnose. Hier zijn er al 6 van gestort en deze week worden de laatste twee gemaakt🤙 In de 8 golfkamers zuigen we water omhoog wat daarna eruit wordt geduwd met luchtdruk. Hierdoor ontstaat aan de voorzijde van de golfkamers de golf, die rolt en rolt door de gracht… En wanneer hij over het rif loopt, breekt de golf en creëert de perfecte surfgolf!! Great progress being made in Rotterdam!
𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗮𝘁𝘀𝘁 🌊 Maandag 29 januari zijn 8 blowers geplaatst in de golfkelder van RiF010. Mobilis bouwt tussen de Markthal en Koopgoot in Rotterdam een surfparadijs. Rotterdam is de eerste stad ter wereld waar je in de zomer van 2024 kunt surfen middenin het centrum! 🏄♀️ De blowers werken als volgt: door middel van luchtdruk wordt het water opgezogen en naar beneden gestuwd. Door de boden, het rif, ontstaat dan de perfecte golf. Deze installatie heeft Hellebrekers speciaal voor dit project bedacht en gemaakt en vind je nergens anders ter wereld.
