    Head of Merchant Strategy and Success at Superfiliate

    last week we had our first Superfiliate Merchant Success Offsite & I truly could not be more excited about the momentum of our team with Andy Cloyd challenging us to build the foundation for hitting our 2025 company goal, a majority of our focus was spent planning out the next 6 months for our team though it's always a hard pill to swallow when you're collectively pointing out issues or areas that are broken within the team's current flow, at some point your longer-term goals are more important than that "it's working right now" so, after an hour-long team retrospective on day 1, we decided our first round of projects will be: ⚙️ improving internal process 📝 enhancing external resources and customer training 👣 further defining the customer journey we'll be checking in on these as a team every other week and ensuring collective buy-in to make sure we're pushing things forward (Gabriel Faustino I promise i'll update the pipeline 😅) looking back a year ago, we hadn't hired Victor Dominguez (the first person I convinced we had something kind of going well lol) -- let alone Vanessa Sánchez R. and Gabriel Faustino, nor were Giulli Borsatto, Larissa Helena Rosa, or Leonardo F. Braga even a thought in our minds! with that context, having a Merchant Success-specific offsite with seven team members and having three dedicated projects come out of it is absolutely wild the challenge ahead of us is continuing to develop and grow the team to ensure we continue delivering the best service in the industry and provide a dedicated product expert for our brand partners to collaborate with. crazy to see how far we've come and could not be more excited for where we're going! enjoy the photos below of our non-planning activities! they include our new team mascot, getting sand blown in our face, and team meals 🤘

    Instagram just started experimenting with 'Super Likes' for stories... and I think it could be a game changer A Super Like can only be given once per 24 hours per user by holding the like/heart button on a story Why is Instagram doing this? My hot take is that Instagram would never introduce a feature like this without thinking about how it will affect their ads engine A Super Like tells an entirely new level of detail and intimacy about that user. If I have given out 10 likes to stories I've watched and then I stumble upon a creator who has a piece of content I really resonate with and give them my Super Like... I have just told the algorithm that I believe this content is the most important and relevant content I will see in the next 24 hours The psychographic information that tells Instagram cannot be understated Of course Super Likes will heavily be used between new friends, relationships etc but any time it is used with a creator, it tells a much deeper story You bet Instagram will be weighting their algorithm to you accordingly Knowing this, Sarah Crow points out in the video below how you can use Super Likes to your advantage by being really intentional with who you give them to If you're a brand, give them to creators that you think embody a larger community of creators you want to work with As a consumer, only Super Like content that's related to behaviors, lifestyles and opinions that you're comfortable getting A LOT MORE of

    We introduced 7 day attribution windows for influencer programs. The results were WILD. 50% increases in conversions. Not in a week - in 24 hours 😮 Why? The buyer’s journey is chaos. We put something in our cart, get distracted, and don’t complete the purchase in that session. If you’re relying on last-click attribution, you could be missing out on 20-30% of the revenue being driven by your influencers. Look for brands in your category that are 6-12 months ahead of you in building a program. Can you speak to their team and get some data on what’s working? We’re in a tough environment to get spend approved. But being able to demonstrate to C-suite how an influencer program can scale and deliver ROI gives you the best chance of securing buy-in. 📈
