The programmable internal tooling platform for developers.

About us

Superblocks is a low-code platform to build enterprise-ready internal apps more quickly and cost-efficiently than custom development. Developers can simply drag and drop components to craft their app UI, connect to production databases and APIs to build backend logic visually, and extend infinitely with SQL, JavaScript, and Python. With Superblocks, businesses ship enterprise-ready internal apps in 1/10th of the time at 1/10th of the cost.

⭐ Meet Sam Tomczyk: One of our Founding Members & Recruiter here at Superblocks! ⭐ 🐨 What do you work on here at Superblocks? I help lead the recruiting function here at Superblocks. Anything from GTM to Engineering, I help candidates navigate through the interview process from the first interview to the offer stage! You can also occasionally find me at a conference center talking to the technical community about Superblocks(maybe even showcasing a demo from time to time!) 🐨 What is the purpose of the Recruiting team? The purpose of recruiting isn’t just to fill the job requirements, rather to attract and engage with individuals who are genuinely interested in working on problems that we are solving for our customers. 🐨 What were you working on prior to joining Superblocks? Before joining Superblocks, I spent time over at Datadog where I was focused on hiring top tier talent within their engineering & product teams. I also spent time consulting at Google hiring for the Google Cloud Platform team. 🐨 What keeps you here at Superblocks? It’s crazy that I’ve been here for long enough where I can see the true growth & impact of the product & the organization. The company has nearly tripled in size since I joined, and seeing the impact each person has on the team & product as they come in is extremely motivating! 🐨 Favorite Hobby outside of work? Outside of work, you can find me working on a new recipe I found in a cookbook or training for my next endurance race(this year’s being the New York City Marathon!)

⭐ Meet Grant Zyskowski: One of our talented Solutions Engineers working out of our NYC HQ here at Superblocks! ⭐ 🐨 What do you work on here at Superblocks? I work on the Solutions Engineering team, primarily on the post-sales side where I partner with our Customer Success team. Together, we provide white glove technical support, training, and enablement for our customers, ensuring they get the most value out of the Superblocks platform. 🐨 What is the purpose of the Solutions team? The Solutions team serves as the front lines for technical support; whether that’s live chat, pre-sales product demos, or post-sales training. We must have expertise in multiple parts of the tech stack (data integrations, frontend & backend programming languages, application design, source control, and more) in order to effectively support our clients, write technical documentation, and keep a tight feedback loop with the Product and Engineering teams. 🐨 What were you working on prior to joining Superblocks? Before joining Superblocks, I was a Technical Account Manager at Datadog. There, I worked with enterprise customers across e-commerce, financial services, and telecommunications to provide best practices for monitoring their infrastructure, applications, and logs. 🐨 What keeps you here at Superblocks? I honestly love using the product and get a ton of value being able to build our team’s operational tooling without having a major web development background. It’s a huge unlock for our team’s productivity and it’s very exciting to hear that echoed when I talk to people at conferences or get feedback from existing customers. 🐨 Favorite Hobby outside of work? Drums and music are my biggest passions. I play every week in a studio in Brooklyn and enjoy going to shows whenever I can. Also doing my best to keep the hockey dream alive at Chelsea Piers where I play in a league. Go Ice Dogs.

Group Product Manager @ Moveworks – Hiring passionate product managers!

It’s the micro interactions for developers that are the most thoughtfully designed. I was using Superblocks earlier this week to sync some data between systems. Naturally APIs are paginated, so I’m watching my flow go 10 loops, 20 loops, 50 loops. And then, on loop 51, I messed up. Blasted null checks. Fortunately, Superblocks really thought about my developer experience. I had access to the data that caused the NoneType Exception. AND I wouldn’t need to wait 51 loops to run into my error again, I could just run the last step. See the GIF — the design intuition is amazing. This is the exact workflow that developers love about Jupyter Notebooks. - Your state variables are persisted even when your runtime fails. (You don’t need to run a separate cell to generate test data) - You can incrementally test code, one Superblocks step or Jupyter cell at a time For developers, these quality of life improvements are like compound interest. A developer who can write code at 140 word per minute gets a lot faster at higher order tasks. This is the low-code equivalent of typing faster. ALSO PYTHON. I don’t know if other low code platforms are blind, oblivious, or their product teams have never used their own products. Python is the second most popular language in the world & JavaScript is only winning because front-end is a monopoly. (Thanks GitHub for all the research you do for us: https://lnkd.in/d9fE_giz) There’s a few other things that I really like about developer experience in Superblocks. Check out more details / images on my blog post: https://lnkd.in/dt6u4Fye
