Remind your patients that small milestones are worthy of celebration. If they wonder how they can celebrate them, here are some tips. Feel free to respond in the comments with other ideas. - Have a 5-minute dance party - Put money in a jar to save for a bigger milestone - Eat your favorite meal - Plan a fun activity - Jump in the air and say “Woohoo!” - Write a thank you note to someone in your support system - Give yourself a sticker - High-five someone

Encourage your patients to do something active, like bike riding, with someone who supports their recovery. This can help build their interpersonal relationships and lead to increased feelings of happiness and self-worth.
