Das Startup Studyflash der HSG-Studierenden Nikola Bulatovic und Dominik Gebhard konnte gestern überzeugen: In der Sendung «Die Höhle der Löwen» sicherte sich das Studyflash-Team eine Investition von 250'000 Franken. Herzliche Gratulation! «Der Auftritt war für uns als Team eine grosse Lernerfahrung», sagt Bulatovic. Natürlich seien sie vor der Sendung etwas nervös gewesen, da es eine völlig neue Herausforderung war, das eigene Startup im Fernsehen vor bekannten Investoren zu präsentieren. «Als wir dann drei Angebote erhielten, waren wir überglücklich», so Bulatovic, der aktuell im Master in Strategy and International Management (SIM) at University of St.Gallen studiert. Die Studyflash-Lösung: KI-generierte Lernkarten, die individuell auf Vorlesungsunterlagen zugeschnitten sind. Aktuell nutzen bereits über 40'000 Studierende die Plattform. Nun will sich das junge Unternehmen verstärkt auf neue Märkte wie die USA und Grossbritannien konzentrieren und gleichzeitig seine Position in der DACH-Region ausbauen. «Die HSG hat uns durch ihre exzellente betriebswirtschaftliche Ausbildung und das ambitionierte Umfeld das nötige Fundament gegeben, um uns zuzutrauen, ein Unternehmen bereits während des Studiums zu gründen», so Bulatovic.
