You may remember meeting our inaugural class of Family Medicine residents back in March on #matchDay. We are thrilled to welcome and reintroduce them to our community. On July 1, St. Tammany Health System proudly welcomed the first class of Family Medicine residents to the newly launched St. Tammany Health System/Ochsner Family Medicine Residency program. This innovative initiative aims to train the region’s next generation of family medicine physicians, serving as primary care doctors for people of all ages and health conditions. Our residents and faculty are eager to address healthcare needs and introduce lifestyle medicine practices to promote wellness and disease prevention. Over the next three years, these six doctors will complete their training at our 18,000-square-foot, purpose-built facility in North Covington.
