🌟 Strong Tomorrows: Empowering Teen Parents and Their Children 🌟 Meet Josh, a recent Rogers High School & Strong Tomorrows graduate and owner of Movin' Munchies, a snow cone business he started while still in school. 🎓🍧 Josh’s journey with Strong Tomorrows has been one of support and success and we couldn't be any prouder of him! Recently, he served snow cones to students at Lindbergh Elementary for the final day of Tulsa Public Schools' "Ready, Set, Summer!" program. Among the Lindbergh, Hoover and Bell students served, one of the students served was none other than Nathan, a fourth grader at Lindbergh and the child of Mariana, a 2017 Nathan Hale High School graduate and Strong Tomorrows alum. This heartwarming moment highlights the impact of Strong Tomorrows across generations. Spotlight on Leadership 🌟 Matthias Wicks Jr., or "Mr. Matt," enjoys developing relationships with students and sharing with them the things he has learned. Before joining the Strong Tomorrows team as the Fatherhood Coordinator, he was an elementary school counselor for 3 years. Prior to that, he served as a Youth Guidance Specialist at a boys' home. Matthias ran track and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies, focusing on Health and Education, in 2014. He furthered his education by earning a Master's degree in Human Relations in 2016. In his role as the Fatherhood Coordinator, Matthias tailors fatherhood services specifically for young dads, addressing their unique needs and challenges. His diverse experience and dedication to student welfare make him a valuable asset to the Strong Tomorrows team. Let's hear it for Mr. Matt!👏 - Enfoque en Liderazgo 🌟 A Matthias Wicks Jr., o "Sr. Matt," le gusta desarrollar relaciones con los estudiantes y compartir con ellos lo que ha aprendido. Spotlight on Leadership 🌟⠀ Natalie Brown, born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, is our Operations Manager at Strong Tomorrows. Raised in various cultures as an "Army Brat," she's a mom to five children in a blended family that bring both joy and chaos into her life. After earning a Bachelor's in Psychology from Oral Roberts University, Natalie dedicated 13 years to roles in tribal and nonprofit sectors, including behavioral health case manager, youth coordinator, and more. Her passion for serving young people led her to obtain an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. Natalie's greatest joy is helping young people and families overcome obstacles and realize their empowerment. As the Operations Manager at Strong Tomorrows, she continues to be a beacon of hope, embodying our mission to create a brighter and stronger tomorrow for all young parents. 🌈✨ ⠀ #StrongTomorrows⠀ - Enfoque en el Liderazgo 🌟 Natalie Brown, nacida en Tahlequah, Oklahoma, es nuestra Gerente de Operaciones en Strong Tomorrows.
