We believe in the power of opportunity and the impact of community. Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in our nation's history, marking the emancipation of the last enslaved African Americans in Texas on June 19, 1865. Juneteenth is not only a commemoration of freedom but also a reminder of the continuous journey toward equality and justice. As we reflect on this day, we honor the resilience, strength, and enduring spirit of the African American community. What Juneteenth Means to Us: - Empowerment: Just as Juneteenth represents a monumental step toward freedom, we strive to empower individuals to achieve their professional goals and unlock their potential. - Equality: We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background. - Community: Building strong, supportive communities is at the heart of our mission, much like the sense of community that Juneteenth celebrations embody. Happy Juneteenth from StreetWise Partners! 🌟 #Juneteenth #StreetWisePartners #Freedom #Equality #Community #Empowerment

Our Annual Partnership Breakfast drew the largest crowd in its 27-year history, with over 400 attendees and raising more than $425,000 for mentorship programs. The event featured hands-on mentoring activities like resume editing and recording voicemails for mentees with advice and answers to questions they had. There were also inspiring stories from mentees, highlighting the transformative impact of our mentorship program. One of these stories was showcased as a short film featuring StreetWise Bridge alumnus, Marianela Sánchez. During the morning we honored Mizuho Americas and Symphony for their commitment and contributions, reinforcing the importance of mentorship in building a diverse and empowered workforce. "I'm so proud of what StreetWise has become. The organization and impact is absolutely incredible. I'm very proud of my Symphony colleagues and how they've embraced StreetWise in our organization. They've taken StreetWise on and made it part of our DNA and how we think about giving back and giving people opportunities. There are so many thousands of people that are dealing with real problems day in and day out, and its organizations like StreetWise that go out and make a real impact. It's all the people in this room, all the mentors, all the companies that support StreetWise that truly help people create a different path for their life. We're thrilled about the work coming up with StreetWise this year. We have interns coming in, we have new hires coming in and it's going to be a big part of what we do as a company. Symphony is really excited to accept this award and we thank StreetWise for acknowledging us." Ben Chrnelich,. President and CFP at Symphony
