Wearing VR headsets, participants will interact with a virtual space and discover the natural beauty of the Cooley Landing Nature Preserve through the lens of technology. Interested in volunteering? StreetCode relies heavily on volunteers to help us run our programs. In the last couple of sessions, we had over 60 volunteers coming regularly per quarter, and we’d love for you to join us! We welcome anyone ages 14 regardless of background. 🤝 Responsibilities: Our diverse and vibrant volunteer community serves StreetCode students through peer mentorship, academic tutoring, and community outreach. Volunteers can dedicate their time to recurring programs or be on call for opportunities as they arise. 💡 How Can I Help? We welcome volunteers passionate about working with a diverse student body spanning ages, identities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our programs focus on technology but also include entrepreneurship, computer literacy, the arts, and more. No technical background? No problem!
