Join us for our Summer Soiree fundraiser on a rooftop lounge that offers the most spectacular panoramic NY Skyline you will ever see. On July 16th at 7pm, with drinks, food and entertainment, we will update supporters and make a major announcement. RSVP Here: https://lnkd.in/e2heRgjK Our seismic growth in the last three years will seem like nothing compared to what’s coming in 2025, because we cannot depend on the government to solve the senior housing and healthcare crises being brought on by the aging baby boomers. Please come check out one of the most spectacular NY skylines you will ever see, have a drink, celebrate and support our work with LGBTQ older adults!

1. On June 11th, 2024 at 1:30pm, Stonewall CDC is hosting a NYS Office for the Aging Master Plan for Aging (MPA) Town Hall with state representatives at The LGBTQ Center located on 208 W 13th St, New York, NY. The MPA will guide the state's funding and policy priorities for years to come. You must register to attend. In person https://bit.ly/458Bovc. Via Zoom https://bit.ly/3V8iS1i This is an opportunity to ensure that LGBTQ concerns are heard and understood. To achieve that, it is important that this meeting have a high percentage of LGBTQ and ally attendees. We have also set up a webpage where you can see the plan report, comment on things you'd like to see changed or covered and see what input other LGBTQ community members have offered. You can also register for the event from this page.https://www.stonewallcdc.org

It was great to learn more about all of the amazing and important work that Paul Nagle and the Stonewall Community Development Corporation are doing for our city and for the LGBTQ community, particularly LGBTQ seniors and families. It was a wonderful networking event and fundraiser. The organization has placed thousands of people into housing, and they offer wonderful programs to support seniors. Their budgetary and staff growth over the past several years is quite impressive, and their innovative thinking, thoughtful research, and creative solitions are yielding great results. Please read about them and give if you can to support their many impactful programs. https://lnkd.in/dWB8vr7Q #seniors #nonprofit #lgbtq
