🦋Vandevelde Farm, the family farm of Dean Vandevelde, Area Manager at Stoneco of Michigan, has had this passion project for over two decades. Recently, the farm added a flower field to help promote the pollinator population. The field is also registered as a monarch waystation which provides the necessary resources for these butterflies to reproduce and sustain their migration. #environment #employeesrock #givingback #pollinatorpopulation

Earlier this week, our teams participated in the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s first annual "Stand Down to Save Lives,” campaign. During the safety stand down, we paused our operations and took time to focus on identifying and eliminating hazards that can cause injuries and illnesses. Check out our Maybee, Newport, and Southwest Gravel locations participating in the safety stand down. This week, we welcomed the 2024 class of CRH’s Frontline Leadership Program. The class is made up of managers, team leads, and other frontline workers from Michigan Paving & Materials, Stoneco of Michigan, and Cadillac Asphalt, LLC. The program teaches essential leadership skills and strategies, and the candidates take time out of their own personal schedules to attend the training throughout the year. Good luck to all involved!
