Thanks for picking Alaska for the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law leadership planning retreat John Cooke and for leading a productive meeting Keith Bergeron. Great take always from our session on Success Signals that I will put into action as I start my term on the Governing Committee and will take back to Stites & Harbison, PLLC to share with our team. Planning for 2025 to 2026 with Tracy James is off to a great start. I enjoyed spending time with construction lawyers from across the country and exploring glaciers with Kelsey Funes. Trying to balance family and work is a challenge so I definitely appreciate it when my career takes my family places we never expected to go!

Some days lawyering feels like an escape room. Solve one puzzle, move on to the next, and if you’re lucky, by the end of the day you find your way out! Often, those puzzles are best solved through team work and collaboration where all put their best talents to work. Good trial run for our summers.

However, while the effective date of the Final Rule has been halted, this injunction applies solely to the Plaintiff and Intervening Plaintiffs. In this Stites & Harbison client alert, author Shannon Hamilton provides an update on where things currently stand as employers are left in limbo.
