The Amazon staff deserves recognition for their inspiring efforts to engage Girl Scouts of the USA in STEM. By organizing exclusive tours at 14 Amazon fulfillment centers across the U.S., Amazon is helping young girls understand the importance and variety of careers in STEM fields. These tours provide hands-on experiences and personal interactions with women working in STEM roles, demonstrating how critical STEM concepts are applied in real-world settings. This initiative aims to spark curiosity and interest in technology and innovation among Girl Scouts, helping them envision a future in these dynamic fields. This effort aligns closely with the mission of STEM NOLA and STEM Global Action, founded by Dr. Calvin Mackie. Since 2013, STEM NOLA has been a leader in providing impactful STEM education to K-12 students, and now, through STEM Global Action, their reach extends nationwide. Both Amazon's tours and STEM NOLA’s programs emphasize the importance of nurturing STEM skills from a young age to ensure that all children, regardless of their background, are prepared to thrive in a rapidly evolving job market. By fostering diversity and inclusivity in STEM, these initiatives work together to empower the next generation of innovators and leaders. #STEMEducation #GirlScouts #AmazonTours #STEMNOLA #STEMGlobalAction #FutureInnovators #DiversityInSTEM https://lnkd.in/gsaXgFZk
