Genevieve, Missouri, it began as a 35-bed facility with 42 employees in 1969. From those modest beginnings, Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital has grown to a major referral center and primary care provider.

The Center’s Bethany Adams was joined yesterday by Rachel Moscato, MPH from the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and Steve Pautler DPS, FACHE from Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital to present on “The Future of Rural: Sustainability Through Innovation” at the 9th Rural Hospital Innovation Summit, hosted by the National Rural Health Association. Their message: Improving financial and operational efficiencies, and enhancing coordination of care — goals of the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development Program — can strengthen rural health care systems, and lead to improved health outcomes for community members. #NRHA #ruralhealth
