Product Analytics Software
Current A/B testing methodologies are old, academic, and require a lot of manual lift. This results in teams running just a handful of product experiments in parallel. Instead of focusing on building new features, teams are burdened with building hypotheses, allocating samples, isolating experiments, collecting metrics, running backward analysis, and waiting for weeks for statistical significance. Our platform makes it easy to turn every feature release into an experiment. By continuously monitoring 100s of metrics, Statsig provides meaningful data analytics, to inform causal analyses, and provide the actionable insights needed to drive positive product impact.

Happy Feature Friday! Week 24: Today we’re introducing Reusable Cohorts, a powerful feature in our Product Analytics tool 📊 As you know, our Cohorts functionality helps you segment users for deeper insights. Now you can define, save, and reuse detailed definitions of user groups based on their interactions with your product: - For example, you can define a group of interest, such as resurrected users or core users, based on simple behavioral patterns or complex combinations of activities and shared user properties. - Say you’re looking at users who re-engaged after a period of dormancy (they performed an event in the last 7 days but had not performed the event in the 7 days prior), you can easily save this definition for reuse in the future. But wait, there’s more! We shipped more features this week: In our Warehouse Native product, we released: 🧢 Capped Metrics: Define maximum values for a metric and any value surpassing the set cap will automatically be adjusted downward to match it. ⚠ Outlier Detection: Check and alert about outliers that are influencing metrics (including when applied metric capping is unduly influencing results). ✨ Finally, users may have noticed a new look and feel on Statsig that includes updated navigation and consolidation on the left rail, a simplified feature flag and experiment screen, and a modern home experience with customizable widgets. Catch up on everything we’re shipping across our fully-hosted (Cloud) and Warehouse Native offerings here. And stay tuned for more features rolling out next week: https://lnkd.in/g4D7Q9N3 #experimentation #analytics #warehouse

Statsig ❤️ Startups Our Startup of the Week, Creatopy is an ad design automation platform that helps businesses customize, automate, and scale up their ad production and delivery. Creatopy uses Statsig in two primary ways: 1. Running growth experiments and A/B tests for key product workflows. 2. Controlling releases to help development teams work in smaller iterations. Engineering Manager Gabriel B. explains how Statsig is making their development process more efficient by having a single platform replace multiple tools: “Statsig is saving us a lot of work by having the tools for experimenting and feature gating in the same place with analytics. Before Statsig, we had to do a lot of manual work to make the connections between user events tracked in different tools.” Check out our Startup Program here and join companies like Creatopy scaling with Statsig: https://lnkd.in/gBiWvKuj #startups #ads #experimentation #analytics

This customer story with Whatnot is is one of my favorite. We've had the joy of working and growing with the Whatnot team for the last couple of years. This story highlights their product development evolution with Internal Dogfooding, Canary Releases, Scaling Experimentation (250 experiments), and migrating to our Warehouse Native product. Check it out!
