We are very pleased to announce the promotion of Leslie Pena to the position of Manager Human Resources in the Human Resources Department. She has been a member of the Stater Bros. Markets team for 29 years and will report to Director Human Resources Operations Trisha Nelson. In this role, Leslie will oversee and manage HR’s day-to-day operations including recruitment and hiring, implementation of HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Leslie began her career with Stater Bros. in 1995 as a Courtesy Clerk at #24 Del Rosa in San Bernardino and in 2004, she was promoted to Bookkeeper Office General Merchandise Clerk at #36 40th Street in San Bernardino. In 2017, she moved to the corporate office as an HR Clerk in the Human Resources Department and in 2019, was promoted to HR Assistant. Leslie was promoted to her most recent role of HR Coordinator in 2023. She is currently working toward a degree in Business Administration at San Bernardino Valley College.
