Join Stanislaus County partners on August 31, 2024, at MJC West Campus for the annual Not My Child 5K Run/Walk! This vital, family-friendly event shines a light on the devastating impacts of substance use, abuse, and addiction. In Stanislaus County, we've lost far too many lives to drug-related poisonings and overdoses, often unknowingly due to the deadly presence of Fentanyl. Fentanyl can be disguised in pills that mimic prescription medications and added to drugs like cocaine, meth, heroin, and marijuana. No parent wants to believe it could happen to their child, but the harsh truth is that substance use can affect anyone. Register by July 31 to secure your event shirt, finisher medal, and runner's bib. Visit StanRx.net for more information. Together, we can make a powerful difference and save lives! #NotMyChild5K #Awareness #Community #EndOverdose #BHRS #StanislausCountyOpioidSafetyCoalition
