SCOE and law enforcement are aware of the reported social media posts that reference a threat to schools. Law enforcement has deemed them to not be credible threats. The same type of hoax threats is occurring around our region, and state. It appears that this is part of a viral trend that has affected schools and school districts nationwide. For student and staff safety all threats are treated seriously by schools and law enforcement. Local law enforcement officials are investigating these incidents and are working diligently to identify and apprehend those who take part in these threats.
