👕 👖 👗Samples for a textile collection can exceed 9,000 variants, the world of fashion, as we know, is full of nuances as far as the design, finish and performance of fabrics are concerned. And over the years it has also developed a demand for a flexibility and readiness in terms of production that was not previously required. 💰 In other words, the market has become more demanding and customised, productions in even small lots are increasingly in demand, and the management of internal order flow has changed. In this scenario, the production of physical samples shows its limits in terms of timing and, above all, costs. We are talking about an annual investment that can amply exceed EUR 700,000. 💻 Here too, digitalisation can be of help. The idea of the virtual sample book certainly does not date back to 2023, but with the deployment of new technologies, the limitations highlighted previously can be overcome by hitting the target. Domina already has a great deal of research on virtual textile samples to its credit, and today with PATCH it is leveraging the knowledge already acquired by adding the plus of AI, which will enable the following results: 🎯 High quality rendering even in dark colours and finishing 🎯 reduction of costs and delivery times  🎯 productions and planning optimization without interfering with any consolidated data flow or ERP, MES or CAD 🎯 waste reduction (< less than 5% of samples get to real production) PATCH solution will allow to: 1)    realise all the variations of colours and colour-based pattern variants of samples, for customer visual sensory satisfaction, eliminating the real production 2)    produce only one real sample, for each type of finishing, in a neutral colour, to complete the tactile perception of texture of the fabric itself.
