I have been talking with Staffing Leaders in other staffing sectors across the U.S. What we are experiencing is atypical in an election year. Indeed JOLTS Report show Hires Rate is trending down. Good read on what many of us in Staffing have been seeing since September of 2023. Would also recommend that when Payroll growth numbers are reported this coming Friday, look at which sectors had growth. Most of growth for the last two quarters has been in Hospitality (typically lower wage positions) and Government Staffing.
