About us
Established by the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi- Milwaukee over a century ago, St. Coletta of Wisconsin is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality residential, day/vocational programs and services for person with development disabilities and other challenges. We strive to provide consumer-driven programs and services that consistently meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. As one of the oldest organizations in the country, we are dedicated to upholding the rights of person with disabiltiies to be included in all aspects of life, to participate as full citizens and to direct the services and support they require for a quality life. At St. Coletta we are strongly committed to cultivating both an internal and external sense of community. Connections with communities in which we live and work are equally as important as nurturing the internal connections between clients, staff families and benefactors. These relations build a community spirit that is unquie part of our organization. Though ecumenical in our approach, our hertiage as a Catholic/Franciscan organization and our ongoing sponsorship by the Sisters of St. Francis as Assisi guides all decision making and has a strong influence on programs, services and values.

Last Thursday, we held a blessing ceremony for the life-size nativity scene, a gift from Cardinal Cushing back in the 1953. We also blessed a new shuttle we recently received. Father Tom gave a short prayer and Ted shared some insight on the history of the nativity scene. Thank you to Linda and Charlie who placed Jesus in the manger and to our maintenance department for all their work into setting up the life-size scene. We are still accepting donations to light up the nativity scene at night which allows you to share a short message for a day on our LED sign on Hwy Y.
