A dull campaign will cost you millions more than a creative, audience-led campaign. 💸 A few members of our team recently attended the TikTok for Business Creative Partner Bootcamp. Here are three things that were top of mind: 1. With more content just a scroll away, what's "good" has changed (and is a moving target). 2. If audiences aren't paying attention, you're losing a big opportunity to impact revenue. Place more value on those qualitative and quantitative audience insights. 3. Creative leaders are outperforming on financial metrics with 67% producing above-average organic revenue growth. (McKinsey)

    CEO at Sprout Social

Day 1... Over the last 14 years, Sprout Social, Inc. has achieved some major milestones and there has been plenty to celebrate. But what I love most about Sprout is that we are always looking forward and aim to be better—to deliver more value for our customers, to create more growth for our employees and to lead our industry. We believe in the saying “Better, Better, Never Best”—that our best work is always in front of us. As I reflect on my transition to becoming Sprout’s CEO, I wanted to share more about how I got here, how we plan to execute against our vision and why I couldn’t be more excited for the future.

A massive congrats to Paul Relf and the UNICEF UK team on their Social Customer Care rollout. It's really impressive to see your commitment to your Supporters and Customer Care team. The team at Sprout Social, Inc. are grateful for the opportunity to serve you.

Social media can be a tricky landscape for Supporter Care colleagues to navigate and engage with our supporters. Among all the comments, posts and messages there may be gems highlighting a positive interaction between a supporter and our work for children. But these joyful posts can be mixed among more toxic messages from others who disagree with our cause, or are abusive, offensive or explicit. So I am proud that my latest project go-live at UNICEF UK has delivered a social media management platform that works for our social publishing, listening and analytics, but also delivers a better solution for engagement. We are using automation to effectively triage all posts, messages and comments across all our social channels, and to sort and tag these into categories for Supporter Care review. Some are routed to filtered queues based on a campaign, appeal or event. Those more likely to be abusive or explicit are automatically hidden from public view and quarantined for review. An integration with Salesforce means our private DMs are sifted and supporter care enquiries are automatically routed to our Supporter Care Case queues in Salesforce, while spam is filtered out for review elsewhere. While this is loads more efficient and enables our Supporter Care team to focus first on engaging with the more positive interactions with our supporters, it also helps us manage colleague exposure to offensive and distressing content as we know what each queue is likely to contain. A big thank you to Alouette Greenidge and her dev team at #SproutSocial for all of your implementation support and guidance. And thank you also to the core project team Amy, Anne, Francesca, Pamela, Rhiannon, Vicky and to everyone in the wider project team at UNICEF UK for helping to get this project over the line.
