What an amazing experience it was to take a feeding tour with the National Tiger Sanctuary located halfway between Springfield and Branson! A must see pit stop when traveling between the two cities along highway 65!
Michael Rose and Dana Maugans, CDME have been in Tampa all week at the Destinations International annual convention! They've been learning the latest trends, networking with colleagues and bringing back amazing new ideas to promote Springfield.
Several of our staff members attended the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce SGF Forum event through The Network! These young professionals got to hear everything about how to solve workplace conflict, mental health, and an inspiring story by Devon Harris on being on Jamaica’s first Olympic bobsledding team. What a fantastic event!

It was such a privilege to get to witness the City of Springfield, Missouri’s Mayor McClure’s very last State of the City at this morning’s Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce Good Morning Springfield. Our city will have some big shoes to fill during the election in April! Thank you to Mayor McClure for all your very hard work and dedication to making our city the best it can be over the past eight years!
The Springfield, Missouri, Convention & Visitors Bureau went green! Several staff members participated in Clean Green Springfield, a citywide cleanup of Springfield. They got out in the rain and cleaned up the Route 66 Roadside Park!
