Last week, our teams at Spring Consulting Group, An Alera Group Company and Boston Benefit Partners, an Alera Group Company had the honour of participating in the 9/11 Day meal packing event as part of a company-wide team-building initiative. Together, with more than 25,000 volunteers, we helped pack an astounding 8.7 MILLION meals across 21 communities—providing much-needed support to individuals and families in need. During our session alone, we packed an incredible 386,000 meals for the The Greater Boston Food Bank!! A huge thank you to all who joined us in this meaningful effort. As I step into this new role at Spring Consulting Group, An Alera Group Company, I’ve been reflecting on something that fills me with immense gratitude and pride. Throughout my entire professional journey, I have only ever worked for companies led by female CEOs. Every single organization I’ve been a part of has been helmed by remarkable #women, a fact that I find both incredible and inspiring. I feel genuinely privileged to have been guided by such visionary, intelligent, and empowering women Jodi Robinson Karen Kaplan Megan Jones Michelle Abbey Karin Landry. These leaders have all demonstrated that with determination and perseverance, anything is possible. They’ve served as role models, instilling in me the belief that one day, I too could walk in their shoes. I am forever grateful to each of you and owe you a lifetime of thanks. Now at #Spring I have the honour of looking up to our leader, Karin Landry, who has just been recognized with the Influential Women in Captives award by Captive Review. Karin’s leadership in the captive insurance industry, especially as a woman who has witnessed and contributed to the progress we’ve made in increasing representation and inclusion, is truly inspiring. This award is not just a recognition of her achievements but a powerful reminder of the ongoing need to elevate and support #womenleaders in our field. I’m honoured to have been influenced by such extraordinary women. To continue their legacy, I am involved in running our Boston women's group House of Art Club alongside co-founders Carolina Trujillo de DiazGranados and Isabel Arguello.
