Last week I attended AI Fund's annual CEO and co-founder summit. Here are some takeaways and intriguing questions from the many great presentations and conversations with participants: 1. Managing change with uncertain endpoints is necessary - even if it feels disorienting. 2. Training ourselves and our teams/companies to be agile with SPEED is crucial. 3. The gap between commercial and open-source large language models will continue. However, the applicability of one-size-fits-all vs problem-targeted model is yet to be determined. 4. Lastly, and perhaps the most intriguing: is SaaS still the right model for AI, or do we need to discover a new business model?
