Special Olympics North Dakota athletes and staff participated in a Health Messenger training hosted by Special Olympics Minnesota! Participants learned about the #inclusivehealth work of Special Olympics, the value of well-rounded nutrition 🍎, hydration 💧, emotional well-being 🧠 , physical fitness 👟 , and how to share the importance of healthy living with their peers and local community! #specialolympicsnd

Last week, Unified youth leaders and mentors from across North Dakota represented Special Olympics North Dakota at a National Youth Leadership Event hosted by Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools® in Madison, WI! The group spent the week learning how to utilize their #leadership skills both inside and outside the Special Olympics movement, so they can live a lifetime filled with #inclusion!! Any idea how many volunteers it takes to run our State Summer Games? We had over 200 “day of” local volunteers that put in close to 1,145 combined hours!
