Today, we proudly celebrate 20 years since the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved and designated Southwest Power Pool (SPP) as a Regional Transmission Organization (RTO). With over 83 years of success and two decades officially as an RTO, SPP has been dedicated to ensuring reliable and affordable electricity transmission across our region. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our members, stakeholders, and partners who have been instrumental in our longstanding journey.
