Target: BP is a national initiative formed by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Medical Association (AMA) in response to the high prevalence of uncontrolled blood pressure (BP). The program helps healthcare organizations and care teams, improve BP control rates through an evidence-based quality improvement program and recognizes organizations committed to improving BP control. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without a great team, so this month, we are spotlighting another valuable team member – Maurice Smith! Maurice joined the Southeast Healthcare team in November 2015 as a Peer Support Specialist. He now serves as the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Leader in Delaware and Morrow Counties.
