Over the past 6 years, the MHTTC Network has successfully delivered impactful educational events, established key partnerships, and created valuable resources for the mental health community. HealtheKnowledge is one resource we'd love to highlight. The MHTTC Network developed several free online courses currently available on the site. Friends and colleagues, as the grant year ends, the MHTTC Network, including the Regional Centers and Network Coordinating Office, will officially conclude on September 29, 2024. For six years, the South Southwest MHTTC has served Region 6 by providing educational events, tools, and resources for our community. Episode 2 of Talking Beyond Trauma is out! Amanda walks us through her experiences with challenges postpartum, such as unsuccessful breastfeeding attempts, managing dysregulation, and reparenting herself while learning to parent. SAMHSA published guidance on how states and communities can use federal funding to support mental health services for LGBTQI youth. The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline offers specialized services for LGBTQI youth and young adults who want to connect with a counselor.
