Source Beauty ESG

Maybe it was the historic venue (the NYC Bar Association) or the amazing audience, but I had a real revelation speaking on the ESG panel at the American Conference Institute Legal & Regulatory Forum on Beauty and Personal Care last week. I've spoken at a handful of conferences since launching Source Beauty ESG on topics around ESG in procurement and sourcing, supply chain regulatory, and legal compliance in the beauty industry, but this one was different. Afterwards, I received surprisingly consistent feedback: "That was great. I've never thought about it like that." At first, that made me nervous. Maybe I went a little too far off script? But I realized this was the first time I went beyond reciting regulatory standards, beyond laying out the strict legal parameters of the sustainability landscape. ✨ This time, I gave the Source Beauty perspective. That perspective goes beyond compliance and into innovation. It's product design, finding new areas of cost savings and profitability, and designing sustainability and social impact measures to push a company forward (not just help them deal with issues today). It's working holistically with companies to develop a comprehensive strategy focused on growth and profitability, not just regulatory compliance. It's future-proofing business to do good today and do better tomorrow.
