Some final thoughts from Angela Ryan, our recently departed Executive Director, as published in a guest column at the Sonoma Index Tribune: "Like any community, we face our share of challenges, but we are also blessed with people who care, dedicated educators who consistently show up for students, talented youth brimming with potential, and countless individuals who believe that together, we are stronger and more capable of achieving great things. Sonoma Valley is a special place, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this vibrant community. I am excited to watch the seeds we planted over the last five years blossom and grow."
About us
PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO OUR YEAR-END FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN visit www.svgreatschools.org and DONATE The Sonoma Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) was founded in 1993 by a group of concerned parents and community leaders to fund educational programs that reach the 4,600 students in the Sonoma Valley. The foundation has raised and invested over $4 million dollars in our local schools to fund programs focused on science, art, engineering, technology, math, reading, culinary arts and gardening. Additionally, we provide resources to teachers and fund a pre-school education program.
