There is a misconception that revisions are a mandatory part of any treatment by aligners. This is so widespread that doctors not warn but inform their patients as a matter of fact that there will be revisions. In other words, a customer hears that the first treatment is most likely not good enough so it will be redone anyway. As an analogy, imagine your surgeon saying you “we are going through this procedure but it will not be enough we will have to open you once again just to revise the plan and make everything refined”. Absurd! Fortunately, aligners are not so evasive but each revision is a cost for manufacturers, doctors and, of course, patients eventually. You basically make a new treatment plan, manufacture new aligners and go through the entire cycle once again. VISION is a perfect solution if not eliminate but at least hugely decrease number of refinements. Thanks to our precision and thorough planning, treatment goes the way it is supposed to go. According to data received from our customers, an average number of cases requiring refinements is well below 10% which is phenomenal for the industry. It works this way: after new scan is uploaded, the system automatically recalibrates the initial treatment plan and designs new approach.
