In 2023, SJW Group invested $272 million in drinking water and wastewater infrastructure across its local operations in support of water quality, reliability, resilience, and environmental goals. $1.6 billion is planned over the next five years. It’s #DrinkingWaterWeek! Ensuring clean, reliable water service is San Jose Water's top priority. Did you know? In SJW’s 140-square-mile service area, it maintains 2,400 miles of water mains, 106 tanks and reservoirs, 20,143 hydrants, and 35,143 valves. That’s a lot of infrastructure dedicated to keeping its customers hydrated!

This week marks National Drinking Water Week, a time when we recognize and celebrate the importance of water as well as show our appreciation for the individuals who work diligently to provide us with a reliable and clean supply. We want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the committed water professionals who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional water quality and service to our customers and communities while also prioritizing the protection of the environment.
